Polar Peak Ski Bowl is known world wide having been featured in many media outlets throughout the past three decades. Our impressive list of interviews includes; Skiing Magazine, Ski Magazine, The Albany Times Union, Register Star, Wintry Mix Podcast, Vermont Public Radio, NY Ski Blog, Hunter Mountain Life, and the Associate Press. We have also been featured on almost ever main television station here in the Capital Region (WXXA, WTEN, WRGB, and WNYT), and the local radio stations in Hudson. Making Snow – Mark and Thomas Herishko create their own ski slope for friends to enjoy at their farm in West Taghkanic. The boys, students at Hudson High School, have been making snow for four years. Their miniature ski area includes a base lodge and a rope tow lift.
